Welcome to issue 1 and happy 1-2-3 lawn routine Monday!

Here is 1 action, 2 seasonal to-dos, and 3, a quote to fuel your week:

1 — Action

Looks like it is a great week to mow other than Sunday, when there’s a moderate chance for rain. Cutting wet grass creates grass clumps and tread marks that can stress your lawn, which is no bueno.

2 — Seasonal To-Dos

  1. October is your last chance for fertilizer before the freeze (winter is coming)

  2. Raise mower height to 2.5–3 in. to protect roots through the winter.

3 — A Quote To Fuel Your Week

Self help guru and motivational speaker Zig Ziglar reminds us to have a plan:
“Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.”

That’s your 1-2-3 lawn routine this week: Time your mow, prep for winter, and upgrade your approach.

Small wins now mean even bigger wins later.

Stay sharp,
Ben
